We are proud to partner with Auckland Transport to deliver a new carpark for Rereteewhioi Marae, located on Taurangatira Road in Waiuku. This upgrade was part of a broader effort to improve access and support community facilities around Auckland.

The project involved constructing a new sealed carpark to better accommodate manuhiri (visitors), whānau, and community groups attending hui, tangihanga, and other events at the marae. The new layout improves flow, increases capacity, and includes accessible parking to meet the needs of all users.

Working alongside the local hapū, Ngāti Paretaua, we completed the job with care and respect for the cultural significance of the site.

Key outcomes:

- Improved safety and access for all users

- Increased capacity for events and day-to-day use

- Delivered on time and within budget for Auckland Transport
